The thing I've noticed that really put weight back on my mom's skinny old boy was a high fat/low starch diet. Check the nutritional data on your feed for it's percentages. I like around a 9% fat content for older and skinnier or competition horses. Equine Senior is a very good senior feed, especially if your horse might have dental problems. While I don't like feeding corn, corn oil is far more awesome. Even if it doesn't seem to be adding weight to her, I'd still keep it up. It will help with her coat and digestion if nothing else. Supplements have come a long way too. I hear Weight Builder is quite good. If you're looking for advice on weight building supplements, call SmartPak's customer service. They're Extremely helpful and they really know their products! Okay, sales pitch over, haha.
